…brownies! Basically my friend and I had the genious idea of making everyone brownies for their christmas presents, thus cutting down on money spent, as we are totally broke! So she came round tonight and we baked the BEST brownies the world has ever seen. My brothers salivated around them until we told them to go away…even my dad came to see what was happening. Anyway, they’re still kinda gooey so I’ve left them in the fridge until tomorrow and then I’ll cut them up. I’ve cut some up (we made LOADS) and put them in pink tissue paper with a little ribbon to close it they’re so pretty looking!

And the ingredients cost us £5.00 (or £4.36)each so yay!

Anyway, maybe I should say something more about myself. You already know I go to an all girls grammer school in London…I would say that I was in a ‘popular’ group. Not popular as in everyone wants to be like you but really secretly hates you, but I think that I’m generally liked. I hope that anyway, I’m never deliberatly rude or nasty to people who I don’t know (or those that I do know actually!), and I try to be friendly to people who I don’t always speak to. The thing is, I’m actually really shy…I would much prefer to be at home with a book than out at a party where all everyone does is get drunk and pull. I mean, party’s are good, but I have to say books are the best …I’ve now completed cemented this idea of me being a neek.

Also, I think that I’m really a Nerdfighter at heart. I say at heart, because my group of friends is probably one of the groups that the ‘nerds’ would fight against. I’m totally for that, I hate the segregation of people into groups based on anything but shared interests. However, I don’t have the guts to stand up for myself. Oh dear…it’s not good! So I completely admire people who are brave enough to go their own way and do their own thing…even if I’m too shy to tell them! I kind of hope they read this…

But it’s not as if I’m deeply unhappy. I’m not. I adore my friends, they’re the best, most genuine people ever…it’s just they don’t always come across like that. I don’t want to change my group of friends, I would just like to have the courage to stand up for people who deserve it.

I shall try and do that from now on.

…oh my goodness! That was all a bit of a surprise! I have to say, I’m liking this blogging business, it’s so much quicker than writing in a diary, you can really get what you want to say across.

Anyway, I have to go now…AS Computing homework is calling in an evil, cackling voice…

…THATS why you look at wikipedia before you make assumptions!

Basically I just read the wikipedia page for Handlebars and it explained the video. It isn’t like how I described it and now makes much more sense! In my defense, the two boys look very similar…

So yeah…I’d read it if I were you while you watch the video!

…with no handlebars. This is a song by Flobots (actually the song’s called Handlebars…but I quite like this title…finish title in message) (that may have made no sense!) Anyway, they played it in assembly a couple of weeks ago, and my friend reminded me about it in Latin today. I LOVE it! It’s got such a cool little tune…and great drumming! But not just cos of that, it’s cos it’s so clever. Looking it up on the internet, and listening to the lyrics, it’s kind of saying where do you stop doing good and start doing bad, and when do you praise someone and for doing what? I can’t really put it very well, but also watching the video explains so much. At the beginning of the video, the kids riding their bikes ‘with no handlebars’ take the path with a C not a dove, and that ends up being the logo for this guy’s political campaign that makes him a dictator. So it could also be about how the little choices you make and the things that you do lead to other, bigger, and more important things. (Actually, re-watching the video, his friend goes down the C route, and he goes down the dove route…so…hmm…i dunno!)

So that was long! And this thing is really weird – all of the little pictures have disappeared but it’s still in visual mode. Ah well! Also, second post in two days! Not doing badly, am I? What happened today…not much…I worked at Brownies after school. They had their Christmas party, so they were all very excited! Umm…I think I’m going to stop now. Except I had a cover for 3 of my lessons today so that was cool – I haven’t done much work!

But I need to start revising for my mock GCSEs soon, and catching up with my art stuff! Also I have the second module of two of my Computing AS level on January 12th which I’m DREADING!

…where there are many things, arranged in straight lines and co0rdinated drawers. Okay, so that should be quite a good introduction. I like things to be straight and neat, not in an obsessive way (well, slightly). Unfortunatly for me, I am innantly lazy, and therefore can’t often be bothered to tidy up. So then I get stressed that things are messy. It’s like a vicious circle!

Anyway, it’s fun to have a blog . I have a diary but I haven’t written in it for ages…I really should. I think I’ve signed up for other blogs in the past but I’ve never posted anything. I always sign up for things and then forget about them! This has been proved by last week on my school email account getting an email from a german blog copany (blog.de) telling me something about my blog in german…:s

So yeah, I go to school (it is still against the law for me not to), it’s on the outskirts of london and is an all girls grammer school. Yes! I guess I am a neek. But I’m not superclever unfortunatly, and often don’t do work…possibly not so neeky? I dunno, I’m not that bothered! I love it there though, and I have so many great friends who are just as crazy as I am.

So there’s your introduction.

I’m not going to write anything now newsy except that I have a drum lesson in 25 minutes, a badminton lesson in 1 hour and 25 minutes, and I haven’t had tea…I’m hungry!
